UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas

Children's Medical Center Dallas

Parkland Memorial Hospital

ur training program has the luxury of having the best of all worlds: access to a private children's hospital, Children's Medical Center Dallas; one of the country's finest county hospitals, Parkland Memorial Hospital; a nationally known Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) program; and a world-class medical school, UT Southwestern.

With the exception of the multiple primary care community sites and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, all facilities are physically joined, which means that our residents can obtain virtually all of their training under one roof but with a diverse group of patients, most of whom are teaching patients who are cared for by the housestaff.

Children's Medical Center is a 325-bed, private pediatric hospital that has been listed by US News and World Report as one of the top-rated children's hospitals in the United States. Children's provides our trainees with the facilities to work and learn in one of the best equipped and staffed hospitals of its type in the world.

All of the inpatient teaching services, as well as the majority of outpatient specialty clinics, are located in Children's, as are the general pediatric and continuity clinics, surgical and surgical subspecialty programs, the emergency center and ancillary support services. Parkland Memorial Hospital, also rated as one of the country's finest hospitals, is physically connected to Children's Medical Center and is the home of our Neonatal Intensive Care and Intermediate Care Nurseries, Special Care Nurseries and a unique Pediatric Trauma Medical Intensive Care Unit.
