Rotations and Conferences Lead to Learning and Growth
Flexibility is one of the keys to success for the pediatric residency training program at UT Southwestern. In addition to the rotations listed below, learning continues during conferences, reports and rounds. The following is a list of some of the conferences available to you during your three-year residency.
Morning Report, 9 a.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Grand Rounds, 8 am., Wednesday
Eichenwald Rounds, one time per week
Noon Conference, Monday-Friday (lunch provided)
Specialty Conferences (Tumor Board, Cardiology Conference, NICU Conference)
Child Abuse Grand Rounds, one time per month
Pathology D & D, one time per month
*Continuity Clinics are 1/2 day per week
